I got a little choked up. Over it now. The Jack Daniels didn't hurt either. Oh boy what a hangover, :biggrin_2559: I made a young man's wish come true, that's all that matters.

Update. The Kid had his first problem. Called me. I blew a trailer tire, what should I do? I chuckled and said, guess you better fix it. The tire in the tire carrier is brand new. The jack is in the right side box. You know that. Your an Owner/ Operator now. Get onto a side road, & fix it. Your big league now, it's your turn.

Spent 234.96 buying fishing gear. Bought a license. for it. I wonder, if you don't pay the government to catch food, can I get one of those books of Food Stamps I hear about?

Didn't know I had my own thread. This goes world wide. It's easy to guide a truck, much harder to drive one. Everything we do has to be right. Like aircraft pilots no mistakes allowed. I will tell you the things schools don't. Be on your "A" game every time you push those brake buttons. Your the Captain, You call the shots. If You can't find another way to make a living. 40 Tons of rolling steel don't forgive. Never take carp from anyone. If it's not safe park it. Some fool in an office don't know the road conditions. Never take a chance. Your the Boss, it's Your call. Dispatchers are monkeys on a phone. They can be replaced, We can't. I'm retired, fire me. :biggrin_2559:

Guess no one that cares knows this is here. Maybe their Moving Freight. The O/0 called and asked ME for a day off. :biggrin_25523: I said, If your empty, get loaded. The O/0 won't have a real hard time from me. Wait till he picks his WIFE up next week.
