The "smart phones" that I have seen, do just about everything. EXCEPT talk and listen. I want my cell phone for verbal communication, not for text, or pictures, or to surf the web. So I'll just stay with my ancient flip phone, until well, probably until it breaks, then try to find another one.

I'm getting aggravated with so many people "playing" with their smart phones everywhere... It's amazing... everywhere I look I see people holding those things and most have their eyes on it... and not looking at anything else... I don't have a smart phone and don't want one. My cell is a dumb phone, it's good enough to make and receive calls. And it's very strong. It has fallen so many times and it's still working fine. :yes2557:

Well I don't have a laptop or tablet. Smartphone was .01 with my upgrade so I went that route. What ever I need to do on a computer I can do on a smartphone. I don't download movies or stream them. I also don't play with it while driving. I get annoyed seeing others doing it. I do have a Bluetooth to answer any calls coming in. For me it's more cost effective to have it. Besides too cheap to buy a new laptop anyways...lol. If they cost .01 then I would have one too...lol

Yeah, I get highly annoyed about the phones in people's hands all the time. No matter where you go these people have to have the phone in their hand or to their ear. If they aren't talking or texting, they are playing games. Nobody can set down and just have a quiet peaceful meal. People can't even sit at their desk and work without the phone at their fingertips.

I use my phone to make and receive calls, check the weather, have a calendar, a calculator and most important, an alarm clock so I don't oversleep.

We were looking at phones the other day and the size of some of them is like carrying a notebook around on their belt. They are almost the size of the old cordless phones.

Lol, ya the size is getting out of hand. Mine is small. I turn off all sound if I go inside the store for food or to watch tv. The only other reason I got a smartphone besides being able to look at a satalite map of where I'm going. Is for the video call or face time as it is call with my wife and kids. It's my alarm clock, dispatch as I get them over the phone and a bunch of smartphone that sits in the cubby hole in the dash.

No, I left FROW last month. Went to a company in TX, I quit within a week, what a bait and switch. Never work for a company from Ohio, crooked as they can be.
