Whats the best option for keeping your food & drinks cool? Cooler with the Cigarette lighter connect or mini Fridge? Read before that having both is best so you can keep drinks in the cooler and food/frozen stuff in the fridge. Anyways Whats your setup?

I'm lucky I have a Volvo 780, the reason I say that is Frigidaire make 1 that is 1/2" smaller than the rest so it will fit inside the cabinet. most will last 2-3 years in a truck
frozen food STAYS frozen just like in your house. as you can see the one I have has a big freezer four 1/2gl of ice cream will fit. so it will hold a lot of frozen food.... down side you need an invertor to have one. I also have a micro and a forman grill, and slow cooker, the up side is I don't need to stop at the truckstop to eat and I can eat what I want

coolers are great for company drivers because you will be changing trucks a lot and it's EZ to move.. if you get a good one and take care of it it will last for years
cooler = $100, mini fridge = $225 -
Does it come with a water dispenser? JK

IT all depends on how long you stay out
your ability to get to a food store
i used to have a built in frig and a cooler beside the seat
when i would stay out for a couple months
now i am out 8-10 days just a frig is enough -
My trusty Coleman cooler does the trick. Although I do hope out next trucks come with a fridge. The coolers are cheaper at Walmart.
