    Anyone got any good stories?

Gave a few rides, the funniest had to be the dude I met down in Ft.Worth that wanted to get to OKC. Just happened to be getting that way, seemed harmless enough. Let him know I had a crowbar next to the driver seat and left it at that. Asked him why he was heading north. Answer was "Oh, I witnessed a brutal mugging by nun-chuck in south OKC."

Dunno if it was lie, or legit- but it was hilarious either way.

Anyone see ol' bed-bugger mark on I-80? Gave that guy a few rides, nice guy. Bad demons, but he loved livin outside. Was getting up there in age, kinda hoping he's still kicking.

That was almost too painful to read.

I was headed EB on 80 in WY, about 15 miles out of Laramie. It was just starting to get some light on the horizon and the truck in front of me hit the brakes and swerved. I figured we had us some wildlife in the road, so I backed out of it just in time to miss hitting some idiot standing in the middle of I80 with one foot on either side of the zipper with his hands in the air. I pulled off onto the shoulder and had 911 on the horn before I even set my brakes.

I watch in my mirrors as this guy jogs/staggers up the road to me (in the middle of the right lane, mind you) then comes over to the passenger side of my truck. I roll down the window and the guy sticks his head through the window followed by the most gawdawful stench that has ever assaulted my olfactory senses, had nasty looking snot running out of his nose and was bleeding from a couple spots. Kept telling me he was dying and that he fell down a well. Dude was wearing nothing more than a black t-shirt and black socks. Nothing more. Long story short; cops and ambulance showed up and as the ambulance was treating the guy, who was, incidentally, inebriated out of his fool mind, the cops were searching the area, one of them coming back with a large duffel bag.

One of the cops asked me if I knew anything about or saw a girl and my heart sank as I asked him, "Why? Did you find one?". He said no, that the guy had mentioned a girl and then said there was no girl. Anyhow, the cops figured this guy got tossed from a car. They sent me on my way and I've heard nothing since.
