Other than "Smokey & the Bandit" and "Convoy" can any of you hardcore truckers suggest any good movies about which centers around the trucking industry.
ALSO, is there a particular nickname you all prefer to be called beside 18 Wheeler, and Trucker??

Watch "Thieves Highway" to learn about the working conditions just after World War II. Another movie about the old days is "They Drive By Night". These movies are on DVD.

Truckers Woman, starring Michael Hawkins - Mary Cannon
Truckers Woman (1975) Starring: Michael Hawkins - Mary Cannon After his father is killed in a suspicious accident while driving his semi, Mike Kelly buys a truck and takes to the road. Along the way he encounters a fiesty young woman who possesses an exceptional "classy chassis" and an assortment of dubious characters, all of whom seem to provide some clue to his father's demise
Don't know if it's about the industry but sounds kind of fun.......lol -
