I deal with more stinkers in the office than I ever had to on the road. Reason being the stinkers are more often than not the ones in the kind of trouble requiring them to be in the office.

Oh my, how terrible for you, have to wait for a truck for an entire 60 seconds. Probably after the driver got tired of waiting on 30 cars from his own company not having the decency to let him make a turn. You're returning from your lunch hour and that driver is probably headed out for yet another 6 weeks on the road...

Yes it is a terrible thing. Horrific fatality crashes happen because of such stupid driving behavior. People die because of this.

You were a driver and you make a habit of driving beside a truck?? If it was a busy road perhaps that driver had his attention split 30 ways, and if it wasnt a busy road....why were you there in either case??

I wasn't next to him for several miles as you would find yourself trying to believe. I could see his head in his mirror and he didn't even look into it before changing lanes. And this all happend in a major metropolitan area with heavy traffic. Go ahead be quick to make excuses but what happened was that driver fault.

Is that better or worse than your company allowing their retard employee come online and bash another employee's spouse??

You know what, I have bashed such drivers right to their faces and you know what else they were wrong, knew it and deserved to be addressed in such a manner as their actions warranted it. That SOB and his wife have no reason to be in trucking.

Oh yes, we're positive you could go on and on. I'm just not so convinced you were ever actually a driver. My guess is you were a spotter.[/quote]

    Spotter not quite guess again.

Oh, so the fact that the signal is on means he gets to come over no matter what? HUH? Perhaps you think about that!

A DM' job is what some of the post was about yes. Pay and treatment I believe. And the treatment is most of what I am refuring to. Treatment from the drivers! I do have a CDL and passed the test the first time thank you. As far as hating drivers, NOT ALL OF THEM, some of my best friends are still drivers and I have quite a few that take the time to stop and say hay when they are in the terminal.

You represent a company and you're refering to your fellow employees as SOB's and their spouses as ####### on a public forum. That's very professional of you. I'm sure you get lots of respect around the office with the attitude you display here.

If you want to claim to be a professional then act like one. If you want respect then show some respect and restraint when refering to the employees of the company you represent. We may not know your name or your company but the true sign of character is what you do when you cant be seen. From what you've posted so far I don't beleive you have any.

Oh so you expect it to be said in words that say just the same thing. But in fact really just make it easier for you to read or hear! Ok so bigger words with the same meaning make it easier for you to swallow?
It is what it is and you just want it sugar coated if you prefer that someone be called an idiot with more syllables than be my guest.
You feel that it was unprofessional in your opinion and you are welcome to it. Respect huh? Bad apples deserve respect too you think. Wonder how much one gives when the bad apples cross your path? Difficult to do when the damage they do is to you and yours don't you think?

Keep in mind people. This man claims to work in the office of a trucking company. He was a trainer also.

You're witnessing an online demonstration of "The Peter Principle". :)

Well if it's anything like what happend to me the other day, a little 4 wheeler decided to fly down the on ramp and become a hood ornament.

So I thought, "perhaps I should signal as a warning, because I'm DEFINATELY going left,,, I cannot however guarentee I will be stopping with all 18 on the ground"

But, I'm a NEWBIE. I'm sure with enough training and safety videos, I'll be able to overcome my 15 years of 4 wheeler driving skills, and simply plow over the family of four. So that the LOAD get's there ontime. (even if I'm in cuffs and the 4 wheeler's going to the morgue)
