I think my dad is actually up your direction at this present time. He said he was going to WI....lol

 

At company's main terminal - they will move me to another truck A newer one cause this lost its warranty. It will be the 11st truck I will drive in this company....
It's a pain to move in and out over and over... but what can a poor company driver like me do??
I got in this truck a little over a month ago. My dispatcher had offered me a new ProStar International with triPak, eletronic log... but I preferred the good old Columbia with good old QualCom. He had told me they would probably move me to another truck soon, but I didn't expect it to be soooo soon...
I bet it will not be a Freightliner Columbia any more.... Probably a Cascadia or even worse... a Pro Star International.... I don't like that truck at all.
I just hope and pray it doesn't have an eletronic log.... wishful thinking though, cause all trucks here will have them by the end of this year....

Most of my day was spent in BFE, WY. I'm in Salt Lake City now.

Coming down that hill in Utah toward Salt Lake City, just before the 80/84 split, there was a fatality crash blocking the entire eastbound side. A westbound four-wheeler crossed the median and flipped it. You could see the skid marks start by the guard rail in the right breakdown lane. Looks like he was trying to avoid something and panicked. It was kind of eerie driving through the canyon with no opposing traffic.
