Columbus, planning to run local for a few days if I can. Got a storage unit reserved to put all my truck stuff into while messing around with Crete's prehire process. if I can work until Sunday morning, I won't need to pay for a hotel room out of pocket. Crete will pay for it starting Sunday night. Might as well stay in a Swift truck until then. If I can. Not sure how much local work will be available over the weekend.

    Dallas TX.
Delivered a forklift to YRC today. You should have seen the boys on the dock drooling over the prospect of one of them getting a brand new forklift....

Welcome to the Cretian world. Hope it works out well for you. Been here for several months. Very happy I left the Central world for here.

Did a local Columbus to Columbus this morning, then a shorty Columbus to Fostoria. Now I'm at the Petro in North Baltimore. Took a nap this afternoon- I just couldn't stay awake any longer- so now I'm wide awake at 2300. Unusual for me to be up at this hour.

Mid Cali. on I5. Sure gotta love technology. Listening to Cards vs. Brewers (go Cards) on the internet while watching gamecast. Little delay in audio, but almost as good as TV. Plus, it is all wireless. Wow! Whoda thunk that it would get here this quickly?
I do hate CA traffic. The drivers used to be pretty good, but now they all stink.
Dear Lord, Please just make these people follow the rules (speeding is ok, but use some common courtesy and blinkers).......I am waiting

James is home after getting truck, making his pickup of some "roped steel" (I think he called it that). He called me after he got to the terminal and asked his brother and I to come up to the terminal and help him - he had secured the entire load bass ackwards! At least his brother (John) and I learned how to tarp that load correctly at the same time as my hubby did! The reason he is home so soon after getting his truck is that his first delivery in Van Buren, Arkansas this coming Monday so they decided to route him for home time while they were at it. He is also here to see if this terminal to see if they can do some work to help fix some minor problems.
