Knoxville. Should be somewhere in NC tonight, but my truck had other ideas. It just wouldn't hook to the trailer, no matter how many times I tried to beat it into submission

Trucking is never boring, that's for sure...

that happened to me once, turned out the air line to the cylinder that unlocks the fifthwheel mount from the frame so that it can slide was getting pinched by something under the fifthwheel that keeps the jaws locked, i ended up using mechanics wire to tie the air line down.. it rode like that for about three months before they saw it at my last service and did something about it.. i had completely forgot about it until they asked me about it.

Sometimes those "creative" fixes last as long as a more traditional approach. I once had a air ride levelling rod break, and none of the shops around had the part, so they wired it back together, wrapped a whole roll of electrical tape around it, and sent me on my way. It was still like that when I turned the truck in 2 months later- and still holding solid.

IP's at Walmart, so I figured I should find someplace else to be.
So I'm at the yard instead. Uh....at the Walmart DC.
