BTW, drivers beatch about NJ but, believe it or not, I've been pleasantly surprised with the shippers/receivers I've encountered there. I do a UPS sub-contracted run that's one of the the smoothest runs I do. I don't get to do it often enough (about 2x per month) but, when I do, I'm "down fer it".

    Be safe!

Ive been in Little Ferry with a spread axle and fun is not the right word. Getting to it wasnt too bad, scooted right over the GW.

Load has been challenging from the start. Took them hours to load in LA. Then it PISSED down rain as I was tarping it. Poured the entire way to Kingman and then the snow happened. Tornado central tomorrow. Fitting almost.

Bumpers, hon, I didn't think anybody would consider putting a price tag on you.

I saw earlier on the news, I believe it was N Los Angeles, had snow today. I think they said they shut down the highways for a while to assess the situation, as it is quite rare for them to receive snow.

I'm in the path of the tornadoes and praying they decide to stay to the west of me. I don't mind a good thunderstorm, but I don't care to get up close and personal with wide scale destruction.

Anybody out in the path of these storms, please, please, please be careful.

Sitting at the Truck Corral in Baker City, OR wondering why they have snow in LA but Cabbage and Meachum are clear and dry.

Had a late start this morning since I only had 9 of 13 gears. Seems an airline had come off the tranny. Didn't expect the truck to break down on it's first run...

Looks like for now most of the bad stuff is staying down around Wichita. Creston Hospital, Creston IA, says they were just hit by a tornado. Lincoln NE has dropped to the 50's and are saying they don't think the weather is going to be tornadic there.

Des Moines, which is just NE of Creston is looking to have some pretty bad storms also.
