Looking for true unexplained or paranormal experiences

That is highway hypnosis. You drive by instinct. I have went through states before back in the day and do not remember crossing state lines.

 

Whatever it was, it scared the you know what out of me. I quit that job shortly after that. I had it happen a few times through the years. Always scared me.

I've had a few experiences that can only be explained as being placed at the right place at the right time. One I truly believe saved a driver I knew and his wife. Funny thing is I hadn't seen him in years, and did not know he drove for the company I recognized as a local company.

 

I sometimes get into this trance where I will be following behind someone, maybe closer than I should. Then realize a couple minutes later and not see anyone in front of me and wonder if I ran into them. Often occurs when I am very tired. Or I will see people walking as I approach and realize it was street signs. Also been a few times I woke up and yanked the wheel a little bit almost running someone beside me off the road but never hard enough to flip the truck and never caused any accidents. Creepy feeling.

 

Back when I first started I saw a bunch of spotted cows crossing the road that wern't there.

 

Had a similar experience when I was younger working security at a theme park in New Jersey. Left work at around 2 am after a 16 hour day, stopped a a traffic light and put my head back and said "#### I'm tired". When I picked my head up I was at another traffic light 30 miles away and had no idea where I was. I had only overshot my turn by about 2 miles by the time I came too, but it was def an eye opening experience.

 

I heard of this Stretch of road in New Mexico, ??Possibly 491???, supposedly where trucks and cars just flat disappear ala Bermuda triangle style. No clue if this true, but My very first Co-driver had this stretch all crossed out in his Binder Atlas via permanent sharpie, he is the one who told me this story, and in the time Ive been driving Ive also seen someone else's Rand McNally which strangely also had the very same stretch xxxxxxxx'ed out, never had the opportunity to ask that guy about it, but he had no connections with the previous guy.

Ive had the sleep monster almost swallow me a few times, other than that nothing out of the ordinary whilst driving a CMV.
