APU Inverter 2 hour limit?

heck you can do 3300+ By working 8.5 a day. I do it almost every week. I start my day at 0800 and shut down by 1830

 

Don't abuse it..this is my first company that have apu in the truck..ac unit, heat unit ..and mine work fine. break down also quick about getting my truck fixed with freindly voice...Love it

 

I just want to Clarify something for all of you the sensor you are referring to has been installed on all trucks from the factory since 2003, it measures the outside temp for the fuel, has something to do with the fuel temp better economy. Trucking companies found out that the same sensor would allow them to activate a setting in the ECM which either allows the truck to idle or not, when it is enabled the companies can set the High and low Temp, some companies go 55-75 no idle, some 38-72 depends on how they feel. It is not uncommon as most drivers will idle when it is 65 and essentially waste fuel, this setting can be disabled without changing any major settings on the ecm with any type motor, cummins,cat, detroit, paccar etc any dealer or Truckstop with a ECM scanner can do it as it is in the main options menu under Idle control. No need for a Laptop and expensive programs lol.
