Wyoming Michigan is where I reside. Went to Gary for relay.spent the night. Saturday morning got a relay to kentwood Michigan. Only thing that matched my appointment time time was the part numbers of the freight. It was only 5 pallets so I waited a hour or so since I was early and got unloaded. Drove to truck stop and been sitting here since Saturday early afternoon. Hopefully get a load early Monday morning.

Well i left and found a rest area that night. It made my 10 hour break start all over, fm was cool about it says it happens. I pulled in to the cons Bozzuto's in cheshire CT with 5 hours remaing on 14 and 2 to drive. I was on time for appt and they sat me for an hour no prob i thought. Then i had too see the lumper service and they took forever. I couldnt leave they had me at the dock hooked up while they took there sweet time. I really enjoy this job but goodness the way some customers treat you is saddening. God forbid i was late for the appt. If i ever have to go back im telling fm i gonna need a fresh day to go there. Now some places are very nice and accommodating, Lowe's in North Vernon IN had a bob tail lot i was able to shut down in. No hassles oh well im gonna stop thinking about the CT incident and chalk it up lesson learned. PS. I hate driving through NYC twice i a 24 hour period totally sucked thank goodness i am out of the north east for now

I have had to delay me leaving for Gary a couple of hours due to them sending me a pre plan while I was asleep to pick up in Chicago at 0900. Called night dispatch to change my eta to 0600. The good thing is this load is taking me home.

It's not that you made a mistake, we all do that, it's how you react to it. Keep your good attitude and you will have a lower stress level and enjoy you job more. Sounds like you are doing fine!

In Gary also. When I rolled in here about 0500 this morning as usual there were no mts. So I had to wait until the planners to come in to find me one. I ended up being late for my appt, of course nobody from Roehl called to tell them I was going to be late but that is nothing new. It put me in a situation to where I wasn't getting enough hours back tonight to be able to deliver tomorrow so I had to relay it here. I am heading back to the same customer in the morning to get my load home. It was weird, I had a FM from Marshfield today and when I talked to them they actually acted like they wanted me home tomorrow. Well it is what is. I also ran into Lantern today at the fuel island and chatted with him for a couple of minutes.
