The DOT / FMCSA allows professional truck drivers to use any one of four antidepressants; one of these being Zoloft (the medication I'm on). However, I know firsthand now that some carriers do NOT allow this. Does Roehl? I know that I can ask the recruiter directly, but would rather check here first for feedback. Please only respond if you know FOR SURE.

    THANKS VERY MUCH in advance

Truthfully David, the BEST answer is coming from a recruiter. Your going to get mixed opinions on things like this.

For instance, I could say no I don't believe they allow that medication. Next person contradicts my post. Now your confused. So it's easier to trim the fat by going directly to the source. Less of a hassle / stressful on you.

Lantern's right, go to the source!
Nothing wrong with asking here though.
I like the commercial on tv about truth and the internet, if it's on the internet it has to be true! Bon jour!
This same advice works for the CB and truckstop restaurants and drivers lounges!!

My wife takes Lexapro, because of what it does to the sex drive, I call it "NoSexApro". :biggrin_25523:

I take Effexor and its cool. I called Prime first and it turns out they prefer zero maintenance drivers. I wonder if they've ever heard of the Americans with disabilities act. As long as your doctor can vouch for you it's okay by Roehl. I also take Lamictal for bipolar disorder, which sets off a red flag because it's primarily used to treat epilepsy. Check with recruiting but again all I needed was a doctors note to tell them what it was for and that I'm safe to drive.

Haha good point. Although I like our uniformity it would be nice to see some different colored trucks in a fleet like they do

We do. I've seen white, silver, and blue ones. Plus at least one black one for the 4 million miler.

I thought the one I picked up in Rhode Island was black, but after I washed it turns out it is red.
