I agree. If you are RETIRING mileage pay is a better bet since you have your military pay. If you are just separating, salary can be a nice safety net, but you also stand the chance of working harder for less money *points to self*.

Not sure about the hours thing people are talking about, but I do know that you can only receive your GI Bill benefits with companies that are a part of the VAs apprentichip program. You can search all of the companies who have approved plans on the VA webpage. You can even see the signed agreements, signature and all. Hope this helps.
