F-Class a Savage .223, now I going to go to some defensive classes at my range, going to use a Colt M4 and a Colt Lightweight Commander in .45 acp, I hope it works and have some fun.....

Shoot some IDPA with my XD Tactical 45acp or Sub Compact XD9mm. Did my first bowling pin shoot a few weeks ago and swept the tables at 25 yards with my Ruger 10/22 iron sights. That was a lot of fun. Don't really care what I shoot, just wish I had more time to shoot!

Just send IDPA a message and they'll get you set up with a director in your area to help out. They send someone out to qualify safety officers and such ( easy) and get you headed in the right direction. It was the best thing that ever happened to my pistol shooting.

I like to plink away with my Marlin Mod 60 .22 and my recently acquired (at a gun show :biggrin_2551: relax in NH ya get backgrounded) Rock Island 1911 clone in .45ACP

ive never owned a pistol and truthfully had probably only shot pistols a couple dozen times in my life.

but I do enjoy the heck out of this gun :)

my grandfathers' 1968 Marlin 336C in .35 Remington gets a few rounds to refresh my aim right before deer season, he bought it a month before he passed on.

I used to shoot it more often but the ol' neck and shoulder don't like that much anymore :/

if I think of it ill take some pics next time im home.

I got a marlin 60 too. Fun plinker. Savage 11/111 .308 that needs a bit more work to zero. When I went to the range the 50 yd was being used for a competition, 100 yd was down for repairs. So only 200 yd. kind of a pain to zero at that distance, so got kind of close, but shoulder took a beating. Also got Smith & Wesson M&P .40.

I have a new favorite myself: HK G36k
I got to shoot a few mags through one a few weeks ago. Full auto is expensive but fun!
Pistol wise, my HK USP45 Tac is the best I've ever shot.

How did you get turned onto these 2 guns? Looks like you could go through a lot of brass quickly...

I Shoot a wide range of firearms when at home, I have a few acres so I can shoot on my property. For the most part I shoot western guns, as a engraver I have a few Colt peace makers single action Army's and 1873 lever actions a couple sharps rifles and of course I have a few modern weapons but they don't get shot as much. I just prefer cowboy action guns. I do a lot of WFDA type practice in the Yard . I can use 45 Long Colt cases that I drilled out the primer pockets to 1/4 " with wax bullets and 209A shotgun primers for fast draw practice and shoot a lot with out spending a lot. And it is fun.
