I do not drive for Roehl but if they do have forced NYC,im pretty sure you'll get paid extra. Also make sure to find that out before going with a trainer and tell your trainer you would like to go to NYC just so you know what to ecspect.Werner use to do that.

    Yes. Extra pay.

NYC is really no big deal. Plan your trip and hold your lane.

IMO Atlanta, DFW and LA are far worse.

At least NYC is too crowded for 70+ speeds

The one time I went was 1600 mile 2 stop load. 1 Brooklyn final in CT. It was a relay from one of our terminals. Mileage, plus drop pay, and $100 to deliver within the 5 burroughs. In and out of Brooklyn was easier than I thought it was going to be. Then whoever picked up the load went to 2 different shippers. So they loaded Brooklyn in the nose, CT in the middle and Brooklyn in the rear. So I had to go back into Brooklyn after my final the next day. Went same way I left had no problems and picked up in Jersey on the way out. Not forced but I couldn't pass it up. They paid to go back in as well. Real cool people helped me out with my questions.
