well i cna help some. i would bring the following
1. 1 weeks worth of clohts
2. map book(rand mcnally)
3. 50-150 cash

keep stuff with you minimal while on trainers truck a CB would be great thing to have as well

 

sleeping bag, and pillow easiesr to carry with you
and when you get your own truck you have a spare blanket for the cold nights

 

Travel light, u may not have a lot of room in the top bunk for your things. Weeks worth of clothes, Atlas, gloves, toiletries, cash etc. I wouldn't worry so much with a GPS or CB....you are in a trainers truck hopefully he is equipped to do his job. Focus on driving and paper work even if he uses ELOG ask about paper and do them yourself for the time in the truck. You may not have ELOG when you get your truck and then you'll be glad you did paper.

 

agreed with BDJ. nice to have CB when you get out on your own. learn as much as you can from your trainer and ask LOTS of questions.

oh yea and whats the weight limit on the top bunks cause I pretty sure I will have to sleep on the top but im 265 lbs too

 

no clue on weight limits, im onl 130 lbs so it easy for me

 

ok lol well I understand it is the trainers truck his rules im ok with the top but if it breaks and he gets hurts or anything he cant be pissed at me lol
