2. Do the trucks contain apus?
3. Pet friendly?

however only a few of the older trucks have APU's. All newer trucks have epus or just idle. Those are a few of the kws they got.
No pets at all.
darlington is not a terminal, it's just a drop yard. But you should be able to bring the truck home where you live.csw1818 Thanks this. -
2&3 have been answered. -

I'm a trainer for roehl bud. We're a good starter company. The up front cost is around 600 bucks I believe. Ask a recruiter about that. They won't fly you. What they will do is rent a car and you drive up to Marshfield and they reimburse you on the furl it takes to get there. Hotel and food is part of the up front cost. We have idol reduction tech in all our trucks. The older trucks do have apu systems. The new freight liners have an opti-idile system. When the battery gets too low or engine gets to cold she fires up. Prostars have a battery pack system. The prostar with the Cummins in them are the best trucks to get. I had one but had to give it up when I went to training. No pets. We turn the trucks at 500K and Rick don't want spike chewing on the interior. Lol. And yes you can take your truck home. It's a lot of money to pay out but it really is one of the best training programs out there. The rdtc grads I get are 100 times better then the guys/gals I get out of puppy mill driving schools. And no bad words on Millis. They are the only training company I haven't been hit by. Lol. Both are good choices but our pay package is more aggressive. Message me if you need any more info. I'm always happy to help.

Before I attended RDTC, I investigated all my options concerning CDL Schools. What I learned was the average cost of a CDL training course was right around $6000 plus room and board, and none offered travel reimbursement of any kind. The other fact is that the majority of CDL schools were in the neighborhood of 6 weeks. RDTC, when I attended was two weeks of training, one week of orientation followed by up to two weeks of in truck training, then a Driver Evaluation and finally up to 6 months of Solo monitoring. Once you have reached this threshold you have half of your School tuition covered! Six more months and you should have the tuition 100% paid off! This in my honest opinion is a great deal. Not only did you accomplish your training, licensing and practical experience for 50% less than most pay, you were forgiven the cost of tuition altogether! Like I said, a truly sweet deal!
The quality of training offered by RDTC and by the OTJ Trainers is A1 in my opinion. Roehl has taken many of its younger drivers that have displayed their ability to operate in the Roehl method (my choice of description) of driving. This method allows for cost savings to the company in terms of fuel, equipment, safety and customer satisfaction. Plenz3 was my trainer (thanks for all your efforts Todd!) and I have to say that he displayed professionalism and courtesy at all times. Perhaps that isn't to be said of all trainers, but of all the trainers I have personally met I would say that those are attributes shared by the majority.
I am now entering into my fourth week of Solo driving and I find myself constantly reminded to back off, slow down and expect the expected as I drive through Chicago almost daily. These are some of the points shared by the trainers during your OTJ period. Good Stuff all of it.
If you were to ask me now which Company training would I choose, Roehls of course!technoroom, Ga Dawg141, Red dog cliff and 3 others Thank this. -
Wow guys roehl sounds like a dang good company to spend 20 years with. It helps out a lot that a trainer is willing to show that he actually cares. Thanks for the help fellers i actually see to roehl trucks around my area I have never seen a millis truck which slightly concerned me

Good luck on your choice!Dragonfly619 Thanks this. -
They might send you to Ellenwood GA since it's a lot closer from the Carolinas. I know they train there also, see the trainers and trainees doing yard work every time I'm in the area.
Ga Dawg141 Thanks this.
