I hope after all the waiting you don't get that one flatbed trainer they have there. All they do is just yell at you and don't teach you anything.

Don't worry about this happening. You are a human and you still have rights. If you have any issues contact your fm or safety. They will fix their red wagon

    Life After RDTC: Day 10
So… Interesting day I’ve had today. I called in this morning to my fm, and got the same answer of we’re not sure yet. I also got a call from a recruiter from PGT Trucking, a flatbed company based about 30 miles from home, for a phone interview. I told them my situation and that I was weighing my options at this point, which he understood. Very little on PGT on this forum, but generally very well liked amongst their drivers. I received my hard copy of my WI CDL in the mail this afternoon so I can finally go get my license transferred tomorrow morning. I spoke with Plenz3 on the phone. Offered me a lot of good advice and encouraging words of wisdom, and I’m sure he played a big role in what happened next. While on the phone with him, I got a call from the training fm. He says that if I can get a ride to the Akron, Oh airport tomorrow, they’ll get me a rental car to drive out to Gary to meet my trainer tomorrow or the next day. I then called up the recruiter from PGT and said thank you very much, but the situation has been resolved and I will be staying on with Roehl. I am very happy to be staying here, and now very excited to get on the road.

. Glad to see it finely worked out ! I can just imagine how frustrating it had to be not know what's happening from one moment to the next. And lord knows the bills don't stop coming in. Well best of luck and have fun!!

Made it to Gary today. Trainer won't be here till tomorrow. Any tips on getting into the bunk room? Tried my card but didn't work. Don't mind sleeping in the lounge if I need to.

If no bunk rooms available ask for a truck that's not being used to sleep for the night don't sleep in the lounge

gingersquatch, Bayle and Scott72 Thank this.
