    Viking,

What is the chance of actually getting the 6 hours of drive time a day while in training to actually receive the $90??

It's not drive time, it's on duty time, and it pretty easy to achieve. If all else fails and you're wanting for a day. Your trainer can go over his whole itinerary with you, you can study your guides, do some trip planning, practice backing, clean the truck, ask questions. If it's not raining and you're flatbed, Pull the securement off your load and re secure and tarp it. Catch up on your paper logs they have you do. There's tons you can do.

Thanks Gingersquatch. Was confused on that one. The letter doesn't say one way or the other. It just says for each full day you work. I assumed (incorectly) that it was drive time.

Gotcha. Any work done is considered either driving, or on duty not driving. Those 2 lines are your "on duty time" and that's what counts for roehl, and also your 70 hour clock, so you want to manage that the best you can

    Hi Viking,

Just spoke with Jake today. He mentioned he thought after 6 months in the FB division you could transfer to RGNs. Is this correct and is it really possible to get on the RGN side without having to wait in line?

    Thanks,

    Bill

Viking, I hope I get u as a trainer, starting flat bed training in Gary in approx. two weeks. I have my CDL, just got out of school. I had to allow time after school to see my father, not sure he will be with us after training... You seem like a stand up guy!!!
