I really think you will be happy to get the whole training phase bs over. I really liked my trainer and still talk to him every other day but I could not wait to get out of the truck and get my own. If you get a new trainer it will take a few days for them to assess you and give you the thumbs up, further delaying getting your truck. It sucks but sharing a truck blows no matter what in my opinion. Good luck!

The worst is almost over for you. Training was brutal for me. Couldn't stand my trainer but I stuck it out for 5 weeks then got my own truck. Life is much better now. Just suck it up for a couple more days and stay safe!

I'm confused. You claim your trainer hasn't taught you anything but yet your going to test out. Either he taught you a good amount or either you still need to be trained.

Come on folks lets be real. Training is what it is. You give people a couple of pointers and they either apply them or they don't. This dude seems like a tattle tail cry baby who needs to pull his big boy pants up. Take a shot of testosterone dude and stop trying to black mail your trainer. Put your dang phone down and stop taking pictures. Dude some people can text and drive without causing a gazillion car pile up. Stop being so hard headed and you won't be yelled at. Why become a trainer if you can't yell at somebody. Sure the heck isn't for the pay. So deal with it. Welcome to trucking because you ain't seen nothing yet.

I agree; everything he's learned on the road, he's probably learned on his own. I just don't get the training thing; a couple weeks max is all a driver needs. That's the main reason I recommend Watkins-Shepard; 10 days training unless you request more.

Sounds resolved. Either you request new or stick it with this guy til test. Take it slow and use what you know, you'll be fine.
And trust me, you ain't seen nothing yet. 1st year is a real treat of exp. Take it slow.

Wow. I know you have experience but that was a very dumb thing to say. I'm sure the people who have had accidents because of it felt the same way.
