Anyone else doing this schedule? Are you able to make ends meets on this schedule? I go to Ga. July 14th for orientation and to ride with trainer then I am going to be working from the Darlington SC drop yard.

Not me but it's a nice schedule if I didn't want to work much and bundle time off.
I don't know what Roehl pays, from what I've heard it's middle of the pack.
Say .35 and 2500 miles a full week, that's $875 gross, after taxes you're probably around $700.
On a 2/1 schedule some months you'll make 3 paychecks, some months 2 pay checks.
Bring home 1400 or 2100 a month as an estimate.
If you can afford living like that and want time off... go for it.
But being you're a noob you're pay scale will probably be lower. -
Also remember, it slip seating, so you can't request certain time off, when it's your turn in the seat, tahrs it, whether it's a holiday, or an event coming up. Some family things, maybe you can work with the other driver, but that truck won't sit.

It's not going to be good, I'll tell you that. I was national and couldn't make ends meet. And I saw 700 one time, but if it works for you then the hometime is a good deal for someone that wants to be home

Bayle Thanks this.

I came in 6 years ago on the 7/4-7/3 fleet and did that for just over 2 years. I was at $.38 a mile and made around $35,000 a year. 14/7 has you out and extra 3-4 days a month so you should do a bit better. 14 days also gives you a chance for better runs than even national doing 11/3.

thanks to all who has replied

I did 14/7 for over 2 years and I made great money, I brought home bout 2100 a month...its deffinatly a good pprogram. I'm 7/7 now I got a little burned out on being on the road that long but I'm thinking about going back now, all you can do is try it and switch if you don't like it

Thanks BIGLEE500. I was born in Fort Ogelthrope and lived in Rossville til I was 10. We moved to NC in 1978. I assume you are still driving for Roehl.
