Hi all I am new to this forum. I am looking at a start date at the Roehl training center on 10/22, looking to meet other students starting on that date. Also I read that the hotel they put you up in is about five miles from the training facility, as I will be unable to have a car while I'm there I was wondering if they have a shuttle or something to get you back and forth from hotel to Roehl and back. Any info on this is greatly appreciated. Looking forward to getting started. Anyone else starting on 10/22? Thanks.

I am sure they have a shuttle. Good luck to you, driver.

You are responsible for your transportation while in the RDTC program. It's basically like going to school, you aren't an employee until you complete program successfully and accept the job offer. Unless it has changed, there is no shuttle for this. If you are a new hire going to orientation there is a shuttle.

I have been looking into roehl for awhile now and their training program. From all the forums and info I've found online about the training shuttle is provided. I may be wrong they may have changed it. Best thing would be to ask recruiter for roehl

Thanks for the responses, booth I'll take your advice and call tomorrow. Just figured could get some info from a recent student that would know. Again thanks.

It depends if you go there with a CDL in hand as a new driver with 0 experience then yes you would be shuttled. If you go to their school for the training it's just like going to another accredited school by your home, you provide your own transport.

What location are you attending? Marshfield does not offer a shuttle either way but I am almost 100% sure someone would not mind.

There are a few but all depends on where you live and what the classes looked like when you picked one. I went to Marshfield and there were quite a few people sharing rides.

Seeing as how they start 9 new people a week, and with 2 other classes going on at the same time...there should be a reasonably good chance you can catch a ride.
