I guess a call to Safety it is. I'm not too sure what made them special. I enjoyed everything i hauled. I liked orentation and how that was all set up. My trainer was VERY professional. I had no issues getting a truck or a trainer. My prostar had 13k on it when i got it. I never felt like i had a 'big brother' watching me. At the same time i never quite felt like family. Other truckers showed me love, but the office staff never really acted like i existed if i went and talked to them about something. Maybe its because they took my OTR virginity is why i'm hung up on them. Like a bad ex girlfriend. haha. All in all, no complaints, more or less, about them other than that terrible FM and that #### sleep test i had to do.
I'm an Idiot...

I sure wish I had even half the motivation you dther then having a fallen out with your FM who doesn't appreciate the hard work drivers do I think judging from your post and your upbeat personality, you have a good chance getting your job back. Please let us know what safety says.
surfernabox Thanks this. -
I don't see how your job at Roehl could be described as "a dream job", when you say a dispatcher denies home time because she "has freight to run". The fact that she was later discharged doesn't change the fact thst her superiors tolerated crapping on drivers for some period of time.
That being said, you are an idiot for thinking that your unilateral threat of not moving until certain demands are met could result in any positive outcome. You now realize this, and maybe some others who are considering similar tactics will rethink that. That is good.
Don't get mad, get even is the advice I might pass on in the future.surfernabox Thanks this. -
Now this don't get mad, get even... I've done that before in other jobs and it worked out fine. I just don't quite see how i'd be able to get even in the industry. I thought i was getting even by refusing to move, which led to me getting canned. Granted i was mad, but it was also how i was taught to react to situations like that by my trainer and by the teachers of my CDL school. I see now, and even right after it happened how much this didn't work in my favor. What would you have done if you were in my shoes? Have you ever been in that situation before, if so how'd you get at em?
Thanks for the advice! -
Roehl isn't all that.
Every have a girlfriend who you though was The One and that nobody would every come close to her awesomeness and you'd doe alone? Trucking is probably like that. Well, not like that, but you know what I mean.
Find another good company. They're out there.surfernabox Thanks this. -
