Like i said before Im an idiot. That being said I feel it was the FMs fault for my displeasure. and it was my fault for not sticking up for myself and switching FMs.

To the OP: Dude, you're not an idiot. You were 22.
You'll be fine.
If you must do Roehl, call 'em back and ask the question.
Lot's of jobs out there...surfernabox Thanks this. -
Before switching to Landstar from Roehl I got a copy of my psp and my DAC. Every previous employer on the DAC put the exact same phrase about needing a review before rehire. It is a generic term that keeps the company out of legal trouble. I have talked with people in human resources and they will only give dates of employment and possibly if employment was a layoff, or voluntary separation. You could rob the place blind and they won't put it on your employment record. The reason is very simple, if they even appear to interfere with your opportunity to work they can end up paying you a lot of money to sit around the house. In short, it just isn't worth it.
The DAC and PSP will cover your drug tests, inspection records, tickets and accidents. These are the big things a potential employer is interested in. Something else I know employers look at is length of employment.surfernabox Thanks this. -

The PSP is the Pre-employment Screening and you get it from the government. The cost is $10. On it are your DOT inspections, reportable accidents (regardless of fault), and citations for the past 5 years. Think of it as your personal CSA score.

So why get stuck on Roehl? I started there and got screwed a lot towards the end I was happy to see 500 a week.. Roehl is a starter company.. I'm sure there much better places to start it just takes a little research. Now that you have experience go somewhere that your not a truck number. Good luck to ya
