Wife and I are looking into going to their school. What do they start their teams out at and what's the teams average weekly miles?

Yes but you have to already have someone you want to team up with. They won't team you with just anyone.

They don't have a whole lot of teams, at least not when I worked there.

and to the OP, sorry I don't know what they start out at but maybe their website might have some updated info.

Strongly suggest you look elsewhere for a company that does teams. Historically, Roehl has not supported teams well. They are too geographically limited. Meaning that their service area is basically a line from the Mississippi River and east. Miles just are not enough to support a team well. Roehl is doing well just to keep solos running.

To the OP, as much as I liked working for Roehl, TexasPhoenix is right, they don't have a whole lot of team freight. If anything you can run teams but it wont be a 24/7 keep the truck moving kind of thing. More like a "You drive 8 hours, then your wife drive 8 hours". You would basically run solo loads, but get to the customer a little quicker.

When I was in Training at Roehl, we didn't run like a team truck, we ran like a solo truck until i was about 4 days in then started to stagger our times that way we could keep a load moving 14-16 hours a day.

Just be aware, you and your wife will have to train with different trainers then you will be joined together.

I know Prime gets a bad rap a lot, but my buddy loved working for them. They may have better team freight, and might pay better. I would just advise to be weary of Covenant

Teams at Roehl are just super solo trucks. A little more than a solo could run, but not much. Laid back team gig.
