I am interested in roehl, specifically their 14/3 or 14/7 options. I am currently being burned by a "home every weekend" place. More like home Friday night leave Sunday morning. Does anyone know if Roehls are 3 FULL days off or a whole and 2 halves.
Also are you home at Christmas? Thanks.

Simple; Sign up for their 7 on 7 off. Then when they hold you out a couple days, you get 3 or 4 days off, then you're both happy.

Do you live near a terminal?

    Depends on the dispatcher.

I never would count the day I get home. The way I see it, if you worked a 9-5 m - f, would you count your weekend as friday and Saturday then go back to work on sunday? I wouldn't.

If you get 3 days home and you get home at noon on monday, I wouldn't come back out till Friday morning. I would usually get home and call my dispatcher to let him know I was home. Then we would setup when I came out.

for instance if I get home Monday and have three days off I'd call my dispatcher Thursday to see if I have a load ready friday. Then Friday I could head out first thing in the morning

You're about 57 miles from Shelbyville; Prime has dedicated account with the Walmart DC there. Should get some good hometime running dedicated there.

Many of those weekend home jobs have Monday morning deliveries which in most cases mean you must leave home Sunday.

Check with Cardinal Logistics in Goodlettsville. Good paychecks and hometime; sometimes every night at home. They usually require 1 yr. experience, but doesn't hurt to make personal appearance at the terminal. Terminal is in Associated Grocers warehouse.

Try for a LTL or Linehaul job with Milan Express; they hire new CDL graduates and even have their own CDL school. They have a terminal in Nashville or did have at one time. Check their website.

I'm also 100% sure prime pays better than roehl.
