Thank you for your wishes man!

I hope I get a trainer right away to start with that phase of the training process.

Thats pretty close from here if only 8hrs away. So far I honestly have nothing to say about the company at all.

I hope everything works out for you man!!

Simulator is really close to realistic when it comes to what you can do with it and the way all the controls react to what you do. I was told it cost as much as what an actual truck costs. Very technological advanced piece of equipment and it will probably be the first thing you will drive down here.

Training is awesome and very thorough!!

    Dominick253 and hal380 Thank this.

Can't believe the whole week is pretty much gone.

Motel is great. Indoor pool. Pool tables beside it and a hot tub all in the arcade area.

Rooms are big and cleaned every day.

Accomodations have not been an issue at all.

Breakfast at 6:30 (provided at the motel but have to wake up and be downstairs early since shuttle arrives at 6:45 at the latest)
Lunch is provided at the training facility (decent selection)
Dinner is provided by Roehl via a boucher that is redeemed at the Motel bar/restaurant (big selection)

All good so far like mentioned before.

Miss home, my fiancée and son a loooot. It is very hard to be so far to be the first time away.

Cant wait to go see them!!

    hal380 Thanks this.

Thanks for the update Rivas! The progressive shifting seems pretty easy then. One of my instructors was doing that sort of shifting and yeah, it was VERY smooth.

Glad the Hotel is pretty nice. What is the name of it by chance? I didn't think dinner was going to be provided by Roehl. That's good to know. :)

Name of the Motel is Woodfield Inn.

Breakfast has nothing to do really with Roehl, but if you make it to the lobby by 6:30 AM and the shuttle hasn't gotten there then you get to eat the motel complementary breakfast =)

Man glad everything is going great for you. Sounds like you are having a good time and making it a great experience. Yep its hard to be away from family I know, but it will be so worth it in the long run.

    Be safe!
