    hey all,

i used to work for roehl, and i'm at a new company now, did orientation today. They tried to tell me i needed to do the sleep apnea test and they want to charge me 150$ up front to do it, when i already took it when i went to roehl and passed.

well anyone that's had to do it for roehl, you used to get a plastic card in the mail along with the results. i called the number on the card, it doesn't work, went to the website on the card, that didn't work either. Who are they using now? same people? they get a different number and website? does anyone know? I've got to get them to email me something saying that i've passed it. I'm sick of dealing with this sleep study bull ####.

    OR

Does anyone know if they'd have that on my file, if they even have a file on me still at roehl after 2 years.

    please. help. thanks. you're awesome.

Sorry to hear your new company is trying to get you caught up in that sleep apnea scam. 2 members of my family are stuck with those machines when they don't even have sleep apnea, but they gotta wear them if they want to drive. I hope you can get a copy of your test results still.

Roehl shouldn't have a copy of the sleep study as it is confidential medical information.

The medical testing firm that did the study is who you need to contact for a copy. Hippa is a federal law on medical information. Under Hippa the medical firm must provide copies of your own medical records on request.

The American Sleep Apnea Association has a former letter on their website you can use to request copies of your medical records.

If you need more help check awake.truckersforacause.com

It's a support group for drivers with sleep apnea. We try to help with problems like this where we can.
