Hello all, after a lot of research I have decided that Roehl's flatbed division is the best fit for me. I am heading to the Gary, IN terminal for orientation and flatbed training. Are there any stores or anything near the terminal that I could get things I may need/want before going out with a trainer? If there are stores, do they shuttle you to them or are you on your own for transportation to it? I'll be staying at the Comfort Inn in Hammond, IN, is this a halfway decent hotel or not so much?

all the best Ford. I wish I could say I'm off to my new career too. But, another 5 1/2 months to clean up things at my current job.

Good luck with your new job! They seem like a straight up company from reading some about them.

    Be safe!

Late reply since you are already there but the Hammond Inn isn't too bad, it could be worse. ;) I think you get picked up everyday, there's an Aldi's within walking distance, not much else.
