Anyone have any recent experience with this?
I've got Roehl on my short list of companies and this kind of intrigues me.

I am on this fleet right now. Your schedule would be like this: Launch out on Wednesday, get home on Tuesday. Then you launch out again on Saturday and get back the next Friday. Then it repeats (launch out on the next Wednesday). You always launch out on a Wednesday or Saturday and get home on a Tuesday or Friday. That means every 2 weeks you get a 4 day weekend. It's pretty good hometime for OTR but you wil have small checks some weeks because you only were driving for half the week. I get around 2300-2700 miles per 7 days i am out, but I am still new so maybe more experienced drivers are getting more...I'm not sure.
One bad thing though..you have to slipseat and sometimes that can be a pain in the ###. I guess it depends on who you are slip seating with. I usually have to go through hoops on the days I have to launch out. Things like...Where's the truck? Where's the keys? Where is the fender mirror? Where is the gas cap? (all these actually happened to me in the last few weeks). And lots of little maintnence issues. But other than that...it aint too badzilla916 Thanks this. -
Thanks for the reply. I was starting to wonder if anyone actually did it.

slip seating invariably means leave the problem for the next guy
the industry works best with this is your truck
you take care of it
these jobs with more time off sound good but when your driving for cpm longer driving is more days more money
with experience there are jobs with flexible home time but you have to search the bushes they dont need to advertise
