Truck Parking

So, in my welcome package there is a paragraph about needing a secure location to park both a tractor and a trailer. The tractor isn't really a problem but finding someplace for both may be. How often does Roehl send you home with a trailer?

Unless you are on the 7/4 - 7/3 or 7/7 or live close to a terminal (where you could park both and commute home), they normally send you home with a trailer.

Hmmmm. How particular are they about where you park it? I see trucks parked all over, but not exactly in "secure" locations.

I don't know what their requirements are, but we park at the local grocery store in town. They are fine with that.

that's a good question to ask the recruiter, and if you aren't comfy w/ their answer, ask to speak to the person/people in safety that deal w/ authorized parking locations.
