Roehl rider policy

Is Roehl strict on their rider policy? Does it have to be a legal spouse?

Roehl rider policy

Yes they are strict.

1. Must be your spouse or your child of 10 years or older.
2. If you are hired on as a student, you must wait 6mo after you complete training.
3. If you are hired as experienced driver you must wait 90 days.
4. You may only take one passenger at a time.
5. You must be appointed legal guardian totake step child.
6. You must obtain insurance policy in case of accident, through the benefits department. Their is also a charge for the insurance but I dont know how much...like $15 per week.

What type of documentation do they require for step children? Also, how does a Roehl driver get permission for a rider? How long does it take to get permission once you request it? TIA

You have to call your DSR to get permission, they will transfer you to the benefits dept and you give (I think it's) Bobbi Jo all the info. As long as everything is in good standing, you can have the paperwork as soon as you get to a fax machine or by email. The cost to have a rider is $15 a month (not a week, as stated above).

I have no idea about the step-children issue.
