The first couple of weeks he was pulling some cash advances. But he is limited to $200/wk and we were getting $32 paychecks (not kidding at all). But I've since went back to work fulltime and he hasnt been pulling advances and his checks still havent hit the $300 mark. He seems to be working the QC good enough that he rarely is waiting on a load. He's sending in his TAH requests as well as speaking with his DBL on the phone. THey've already discussed his preferred schedule and this really shouldnt be an issue. This weekend they told him, "we are trying to get you close to home." Thats after 2 weeks out on the road. He literally wrote back, "close to home is unacceptable, I need a load to Paris, Tx." That was after a msg telling them he needed to refuse his next dispatched load and get home for a reset. He was completely out of hours and pulled into our drive 7 min over 70 hours. He had been over 70 for a few days and recovering a few hours after every 10. He really needed his reset. Schneider was a blessing for our family but it has also been a big struggle. The money is not the most important issue to me as getting his hometime. He wants to drive a truck, I'll stand behind him on it biting my tongue the whole time. But he at least needs to bring home something to make up for my kids being without their dad. I made more than he is as a cashier at walmart.

We had a great weekend. Fingers crossed and prayers going up for 1) a decent check this week 2) they get him home for Christmas. Not to mention our youngest will probably have surgery Friday morning but between our 3 boys this is surgery #9 so its not a big deal for him to not make it for that as long as he gets home in time to see his girls on Christmas Eve. :) :)

Thats kind of odd since they have a hundred or.so.loads a week in and out of paris tx. I could make a good living just running back and forth between paris and muskogee, ok

Shana3178...I dont want to come across as arrogant or an ### when I say this, but if your hubby is going home all of the time, he won't ever make any real money. If the wheels aren't turning, he isn't earning. This isn't just a job, it is a whole new lifestyle. I had to learn that with the quickness when i started out 4 years ago with another company.

As far as his pay, my first check I got today for my training pay of 150.00. After taxes and paying back the 90.00 I took in advances last week, I received a grand total pod 30.96. So, he made more than me in his first check. Now, THIS check coming, will be for a LOT more. Been running my ### off for two weeks now and its gonna pay off with this check.

If your hubby is running hard, doing his macro 18, and keeping the drivers door closed on his truck, he should be making good money. Does he stop a lot? Does he have 500 mile loads that take him more than a shift to deliver them? Is he trying to deliver early on every load? If the answer is it is taking him two shifts to drive 500 miles, if he isn't busting his ### every day to deliver early and to get on with his next load, then that is the problem. If he learns to keep that door shut, wheels turning, and burning Schneiders fuel he will find that his paychecks will look MUCH better.

Anyway, that is my 2 cents.

ANY freight OUT of Florida, they want to pay you in oranges. When i was LO with Prime, we would make an AWEOME amount of money going in, but went hungry coming out.

    That's just not true.

I just got my last statement in. I will make over $40k by years end.

I ran regional up to the end of September, then switched to home run 14/7. Might have been last of August...can't remember.

There's more going on here (I'm late, don't know it all). But he should be able to bring home $500 a week on a bad week running regional. And home on weekends.
