Ya i dont know what it is. I have a few friends who run it that could run choice but they like it and they do good. Ibjust have an adversion to having a dispatcher

 

How was the first truck that you leased from Lone Mountain? I have heard a lot of good and bad about Lone Mountain. Have they stood behind their products? I guess so if you on your second truck.

 

This truck has been great. In 300k miles all i have repaired is an ac compressor, a radiator replacement, fan solidoid, v pod for the turbo. All together mabey $3500. And its never missed one day of work broke down.

They are the bast at what they do (get trucks into peoples hands who dont have the best credit) there are a ton of scams out there and they are straight up. I have.sent many friends there.

Here.is the thing though. You are.looking at used fleet trucks. If you are not capable to pick a good truck from a bad.one then you just shouldnt be buying a truck period. A ton of people go there and look at a truck and sign on the line never inspecting it, some dont even drive them. So take what you hear with a grain of salt. Its your job to know if its good or bad. They will fix anything thats wrong before you leave but after that its your baby not theirs.

 

I will be looking to lease one around December of next year. I will definitely use you as a reference. Need to get a full year up under my belt and make sure that my second go round at trucking is what I really wanna do. Seem like the smart thing to do would be to have someone run a fine tooth comb over the truck before they sign.
Just my opinion though.

 

And run it on the dyno. Freightliner in council bluffs i believe is where.they have it. Costs like $180. I didnt run this one and got lucky but i was a diesel mechanic long time before i was a truck driver

 

Hard to compare since all their finance chearges n all are wrapped up together. Some get a bit pricey, the kw is decent priced but it was a repo so there is a bit more risk associated

they have a bunch of marten columbias with apus that are pretty decent. And a bunch of corn binders but theyre super striped down. You got good credit youd likely be better off buying from a dealer or.individual and getting the financing
