what a totally crappy day. that trailer i was supposed to get from GP at 2pm.yesterday. . . . . yup, 5:36am today. got up at 5 and still wasnt done. big WTF!!
ran to dollar general and my drop n hook was a three hr. live unload. was an hour late getting to my pickup and ran out of hours before getting to petro in shreveport to get my new tires put on.

oh ya, my 8500lb load to new orleans is actually 45k. lbs and it doesnt pay near enough to be that heavy.

 

Columbus is gravel now, and they actually have separate areas for tbo, loaded and empty trailers, and they are marked.

They are improving it, but it will never be as nice as the others.

I will say, I think we have some of the best mechanics in Columbus tho

im in slidel louisianna. so close to new orleans i considered renting a car.

hopefully i will be upgrading to an 07 pete around the first of the year. i just about got the deal worked out. just hope they accept my offer.

 

me too. i hate driving a strip down truck even though its been a super reliable truck. it got me back in the game though. im just used to having trucks that you can have some pride in your ride

 

387 althou as much as i love my big hoods its just not practical anymore. my last one got 4.5mpg on a good day. down in the 3's on a bad day. thats thousands extra every month just for fuel. granted that was a mechanical motor

plus schneider has a wheelbase restriction and most my petes were over it
