    I know that this is a public forum and i'm not for censoring anyones speach or text but i don't see any reason to complain about everything constantly, but to each there own...

    All i say is theres always two sides to a story. And some people always seem to have a problem,one more reason to never have drivers again. Not long ago i considered going back to my own authority and buying trucks to put drivers in. Thank god i didnt. My buddy did and i cringe.at what he deals with. Been 15 years since i dealt with drivers, i almost forgot what it was like

    I sometimes have a hard enough time dealing with myself as a driver i don't want to put up with other's LOL

    Ford switched a few years ago and they actually started releasing next model year in April of most years. Found that out when I bought my 2010 GT. Freaking great deal on it and my Expedition; GT loaded (Except glass roof) after TTD and rebates etc, MSRP was $37K plus tax. Paid $29,500 out the door. I had sold an 07 Land Rover and my 73 Mach 1 so I could pay cash for car at $32k (What I expected to pay after rebates, tx, etc). Dealer said If I agreed to finance and not pay off for at least 90 days they would knock another 2% off as the dealer said they get 3% kick back from bank.

    I beat them up on price pretty hard, qualified for end of model rebates (This is a 2010 GT and I bought last day of MARCH 2010- End of model year??). Three months later I called dealer to make sure they received money from bank; they had. I paid car off the same day.

    Two weeks later I got a refund from the dealer for the 2% (Which they had already deducted from price when I bought) and two days after that I received a refund of $300 from bank (Check said over payment of principle (??No idea??) So when all is figured out I really only paid $28,700 after tax / title. Cars full price with tax and all was just over $40,000.

    I had a similar deal happen with our Ford Expedition; sticker was $54,800 before tax, etc. Drove off lot and after all was said and done it cost less than $42k. Again, sold a 21' ski boat and an 07 GMC conversion van; boat sold for $19000, van for $28000. after beating dealer up, rebates etc, planned on paying Expedition off after 90 days, however when we went to pay off the bank dropped the interest rate to 1/2% interest. I left the money in an investment fund (2.75%) instead that is set up to auto pay payment for the 36 months of note and then will transfer balance of account to my wife's 401k when all is done - tax and fee free. I will save 2.25% of purchase price over the 36 months.

    Yea the new truck i want which i'll special order to get it the way i want stickers for 67,920 and i don't want to pay more than 53k best the dealer has offered yet is 58,920 and i won't do it. I'd do 55k but no more but were still way off on price and i won't drive a chevy truck or dodge. I don't like there diesel's and have always been a ford guy so i'll stick with the blue oval.
