I don't know how many miles I drive a week, but I'm busy everyday (and I love being busy ) and after expenses (fuel, insurance on truck, (still have federal health insurance from government), I'm taking home around $2500-3500 per week. But I drive all my available hours daily. And I haven't got home yet, still stuck in the East Coast, right now at the TA, Ashland, VA, heading to Dover, DE.

 

....one more thing, I average around 200 deadhead miles a week, try to plan loads close to each other. I've got 6 pre assigned loads till Thursday 22nd. I use to do only 2-3 pre assign loads at a time, but I'm getting good at this, and I do 8-10 loads at a time . My loads range from 30 loaded miles to 700 miles. The short loads pay a lot more, but still aiming for nothing over 25,000 pounds. My average MPG, is around 7.70.

 

don't think your "bringing home 2500-3500 per week" and you say you don't no how many miles you drive a week???? Wow

Well that's what my settlement and my direct deposit says. First week as a IC, only got $1600, but I'm getting the hang of this. I average $1000 gross a day. The short runs pay real good. But not trying to convince you . Just telling anyone that reads this, that, that is the fact.
