Best of luck to you too!!! I just have to ask though.....are you sure your recruiter is telling you correctly? I have people in my class that are going dedicated for Sears and they have to do the first 5 days to get hired, then out on the road with a training engineer (TE) for the next week, and then back in the classroom the 3rd week. :biggrin_25524:

Have fun at that Wal-Mart acct. When I was there, lasted three weeks. Got tired of the 18-20 hour days, and by that, the time that you set your PTA, wake up, then sit and wait for a load and then run about 14 hours. I wish you better well in your new future. This was a little while ago, and by now, they might have changed some.

I would also like to add....
You can't get caught drinking any alcohol during orientation.
My first night here I bought a six pack of Samual Adams (very tasty, expensive beer), as did my roomie...we drank a couple only to be told the next day we couldn't drink while at orientation.
I was kinda annoying, but I guess it's a test of sorts...to see if you can follow rules.
Suffice to say, we had 8 ice cold Samual Adams in our fridge...alone and lost with nobody to drink em. :biggrin_2553:

O.K. you asked for it girl. I'm getting ready to go to a private driving school here in Twin Cities area and then on to a company for good training. Briefly, I've looked at SNI, Prime, Roehl, Crete and there's good and bad with all I think. I've done extensive reading (Knapp, Mayfield, Wright, Aquila). Why did you choose SNI? What other companies did you consider? Forgive me but I can't recall, are you a recent school grad or experienced? Why did you choose dedicated as opposed to regional or otr? In other words, time for an essay here! Thanks for the good stuff. Can you tell I'm an information junkie who also needs to know W,W,W,H and W!!!!

washington CH? Filled in there a few times, tell Gary(kinda big guy with the gotee) I said "hi" and if he ever needs me to fill in again to give me a ring:biggrin_25519:

If he can't remember me, tell him I am the "system" driver that delivered two runs for him in one day and didn't complain, he seemed kind of amazed at that LOL
