Just got hired on to the oilfield division
Just received my final instructions a few hours ago. I was wandering if anybody has any info they can give me to make orientation/getting in the daily swing of things easier

I don't understand. Why didn't you just go work for a company in the oilfield? Schneiders pay will be 3 or 4 dollars less per hour.

I hope you don't get a DBL out of Dallas. They are extremely bad. Don't answer phones. Screw up your trips. Leave you sitting for days. It goes on.

Well if they leave us sitting for days, that would be a problem for them. We're paid salary. 14 hours on, 10 off, then we're on call, all the time. 6 on, one off until they get enough drivers to go 5 on 2 off. Not exactly OTR. but who knows...I'm ready to be disappointed, but expecting the best. Probably somewhere in the middle. That'll work.
