schneider pre-hire-----parking issue
okay i live between springfield and branson missouri. no solo's available here which is fine. i thought about teaming anyway. but can't find a partner locally at the moment. recruiter paired me with someone in edwardsville, il. he asked me if id mind driving that far. i told him that's a lil far to drive. he said he'd try to get it halfway (jefferson city?). te in conferance call said no, that it would have to be parked in edwardsville. so here are my questions. 1) can my partner swing by and drop me off on hometime and visaversa? probly not huh. 2) if i find another partner locally, then can i park somewhere near here? or does it have to be at edwardsville or some other terminal?

I think Schneider trucks have to be parked at a terminal or secure yard somewhere. My partner lived in Bonham, TX. I would always go by and pick him up.

no, you can park your truck at home, or near home, if you live more than 100 miles from a terminal or drop lot.
I think his issue is that he is teaming, and they can't find him a partner close enough to where he can park the truck there.
If you find a partner in your area it shouldn't be a problem.

My husband and I team. We are O/O's. We live in Boonville, Mo which is in the middle of the state. 154 miles from Edwardsville and 102 from Kansas City. They wouldn't let us take the truck home when we were company drivers.

Hey Eric we were in Dallas this Monday. We have a load going up to Ill. in the am Tuesday. Saw your truck and was going to leave a note on it saying hi. Miles have picked up. I was off the truck for about 3 weeks for my daughter's surgery on her thyroid.
