Is there relocation assistance for current drivers?
Hi,
I know SNI offers relocation for new drivers but I was wondering if there was anything for current drivers. That about sums it up.
Even if it was some sort of loan where you could pay it back from your checks would be good.

Yes, gokiddogo. As it stands now, we live quite a ways from the OC in Carlisle. Having done research on the area and the schools, we would be willing to relocate there. SNI is a good company plus Carlisle is a transportation hub, so there are other opportunities available if ever needed.
HillClimber, a daycab spot would be great! We would move to Carlisle now if we had the money to do so. We are already saving up for the move, but it would be good for our kids if we didn't have to move in the middle of the school year. Plus, we live in a not so great area right now so moving looks even more attractive.

The only time i've ever heard of SNI offering relocation assistance is to move for an oilfield job.

That's what I thought TennMan, but I wanted to make sure that we weren't missing anything.

Shipingsburg has intermodal spots open, and offers relocation assistance.
I will be trying for one of those spots once I get the time in that is required.

FYI when I was with SNI last year I considered moving for an oilfield job even talked to them about it. Well they will pay for move but only upto xxx dollars depending on job but only after you've completed move so all they do is reimburse you upto agreed upon amount. Now that could be different now. Good luck
