From the looks of things, going dedicated was a huge mistake or some of you people are bullshi**ing about your mileage. I can't get above 2200 a week even after complaining to my dbl about crappy mileage. I'm thinking about looking for another company that doesn't haave these stupid ambient sensors as well. Glad to see so many drivers are getting to run instead of sitting and waiting for crap to come in.

DS's are no more, they were incorporated in the FC and ET ranks right after I left in 1996. -
Sitting here in lovely Dunnigan CA after running out my 11. I have been a busy beaver since coming off of my 34 Tuesday morning. I did 600 miles yesterday and 555 miles today. Pulled 44,000 pounds from Portland OR to here today. Going over the mountain ranges in Southern OR and Northern CA was slow going, no doubt about it. Did 28 mph in 7th gear up most of them. This is where my truck likes to pull heavy loads at.
I have a 3 hr live unload to sit through tomorrow morning, then a nice 800 mile run already preassigned over to Utah. Keeping moving fer sure.
Drove through my first snowfall yesterday driving from Weed CA to Hermiston OR on US 97. Maybe an inch or two in the road, just followed the tracks and kept it slow(er). Was interesting....
Planning on heading home two weeks from today, so I'll be out 3 weeks and 2 days total. I feel you have to stay out for more than two weeks to get a good sized check. Just my humble opinion o'course.
Nothing else to add right now, hope everyone had/has a good Thanksgiving.
Keep it safe and sunny side up!Grijon, 91B20H8 and NavigatorWife Thank this. -
Glad you are getting the miles. Thanks for the update.

Waving from the comfyness of my easy chair.....
Taking some TAH after being on the road for 24 days. Ran two straight 2800 mile weeks, 1800 miles on my 4 day week. Did the Sacramento to Salt Lake City to Boise to Portland to Sacramento circle TWICE. Drove from SLC to Yuma AZ, first time in Yuma. All the snowbirds in their RV's were interesting. All loads have been over 40,000 pounds. Lots of live loads and unloads.
I find it humorous that Schneider has/is installing ambient sensors in all their trucks to curtail idling, and the new bonus structure does not include idling now!!! Imagine that!
No complaints, and if I did who would really listen?
Was back at the Fontana OC on Thursday after running for the 24 days, lots of newbies in the 1st week and 3rd week of class. Looks like Schneider is still drawing them in..........
New truck is still running great, I've got my PM scheduled for Dec 30th. Two handles on the cabinets have broken, but so far that has been all. Knock on wood........
Guess that's it, take care and have fun! -

Thanks for the update. It's useful to hear about typical weeks. -
Waving from the West Memphis OC.....
Yes, you read that correctly! I came back from TAH on Monday the 10th and my DBL had a nice 1400 mile run to Dallas for me!! First time out of the Western 11 for me. Finished that run up this morning and am now on a 650 mile run to just south of Nashville TN. After that got a 350 mile run to somewhere in AL. We will see how the 48 OTR treats me, should be interesting to say the least!!
I actually got to have lunch with my Mom today, who lives in Texarkana. Was nice to see her, had been six months. I hope to get a load to the Tampa FL area, where my kids live with the ex. The DBL knows, but no promises of course.
Fingers crossed.................................Grijon and kerosene jockey Thank this.
