does anyone have any info about Schneider's otr tankers division for rookies coming out of school? like how many miles you average, hometime, etc etc any info will be much appreciated

I don't know if any of the companies will hire you with less than 2 years OTR but to be honest with you I haven't paid much attention to that detail in over 15 years.
I can tell you that I have hauled almost everything under the sun and I can tell you right now if you like driving and you handling freight and waist in your time securing and strapping down loads tankers are the best!
I do it and I made over 65k last year and I didn't even break a sweat. -

Yes SNI puts rookies in tankers.
In the Houston area, some drivers get home daily. Some weekly..some longer. Depending what they want to do. Not sure about Chitown. I don't think its much different. But consider the longer you stay out, the more miles you will get. Don't base your miles on what van drivers make because you will spend more time on average loading and especially unloading... -

O/P: home time is 14 days out/3off, or 21 out/6 off for OTR. I don't know what regional is. -
