Mickeyrat, how does the return trip work on dedicated accounts? Do you get any another dedicated route on the haul back? I might know what company in Elyria, since I'm only about 12 miles from there. I was also wondering if they have part time on this account.

Curious, whats an average weight per load? And I assume you have fairly regular customers, are they easy to work with? -

resin loads are usually heavy 42 to 44. but you will have raw material loads and empty box loads that are lighter. You will go to the same customers witch is nice. Theres like 15 plus polyones that you will go to all the time. It's a good mix of customer deliveries and PolyOne plant deliveries.

Hell, if you are going to haul for Poly mine as well look into hiring directly as a company driver. They get pretty good mileage rates and home time is really good apparently (pretty much take off as much as you want from what I heard). Only negative I've heard about is equipment issues and breakdowns (they run maxforce prostars) Trucks run 68 too.
Edit, I think Poly Trucking is separate, nevermind LOL -
well I run local, so im on salary. But when I ran regional 2200-2500 was pretty avg. They kept me moving pretty well. You get nice long runs. Elyria to Georgia, ten, minn, new jersey. are all common. lousiville to conn then up to mass and back to avon lake. 700 mile loads are common.
