Cascadia 3 option freightliner parksmart no inverter, idleair believe it has 1500 watt that system is run on batteries. Or pay $1800 and order a tripak

Young team. Ok fine. 2015. Team, so I get that. What I dint understand is the decision to slide 5th wheel in the fuel island.

So I'm thinking about getting a 2015 KW 680 with like 98k miles, how's that Tripak Evolution? Does it have a inverter? And what size? And lastly is it diesel powered?
What type of fuel mileage are you all getting out the 680?
What complaints are there about the 680.
    Thanks.

Tri Pac is diesel no inverter installed unless previous driver did it. Mileage is not bad but why was it turned in? Why not go new other than deposit? Fuel mileage is not my forte.....

I slide my 5th wheel on the most level ground I can find that has decent traction. If that's the fuel island or the Eisenhower putting green so be it. :)

You can also tell that you're no longer a local driver who spends a couple of hours a day conversing with normal(ish) people - sentance fragments reading like a driver grumbling under his breath about stupid drivers. :)

really though , how often is that necessary? set it at optimal and work with it. SNI's suggestion works for me. full of fuel at 44k my steers are at 11,800 , adjust tandems as needed to be legal for weight an distance from pin.

    moosc and mickimause Thank this.

As the trucking gods and the account planners at SNI would have it, I am doing the rinse repeat of Muncie,In to Taylor,Mi this week. Court is next week. Navigo has in fact updtaed the routing to avoid the seasonal weight restricted portion of Inkster where I was pulled over. Return trip has you turn left right where it begins that stretch of restriction. There is ZERO signage before or after the intersection related to weight restriction. I get that it is seasonal and temporary , but shouldnt there be signage? Gives me something to research in the law though to reduce to dismiss outright. Here's hoping. Deputy seemed to infer that attending court rather than sending the fine amount in would at least get it reduced to start.

Because the Freightliner would only have park smart and I'm not a fan of that, I could pay 1800 for a APU but won't get that money back after the year of I don't stay, I'm still putting down 2k for the KW and if I don't renew I'll get that back.
I'm not making a long term commitment with the unknown so this year is my test drive with the Choice Board.
They didn't know why it was turned in, but I figured a year old truck has the kinks worked out of it, all it takes is that new truck built on Friday and that first year would be a waste.
