Hey all I'm a recent CDL school grad with all my endorsements. I decided to apply to SNI. i want to know if anyone can answer this question...How long did it take for a recruiter to get back to you about going to orientation for training? I already did all the paperwork for the pre-hire (background check, DMV check, drug test, ect.) mind you and the wait is killing me. Mainly because i have another company waiting in the wings wanting to talk to me, but i'm trying to give SNI my attention because i like what they have to offer coming right out of school. Looking for suggestions and answers.

ok so you did the paperwork when? I think from the time I did the online app to recruiter calling was like a week? was still in school at the time. What specifically did you apply for? Where from? recruiter who came to my school refereed all of to the sni job site. www.schneiderjobs.com. Theres usually a recruiter # to call on those ads, I think.

Theres nothing wrong with talking to the other company in the meantime. There was something about them you liked enough to apply with them, yes?

Ok. i noticed i left out a little bit of info when i posted this so it goes like this i had applied to Schneider back in middle of September for tanker teams position originally, but there was no one available that wanted to do teams(Keasby,NJ),I live here in jersey. So in start of October i switched to tanker solo position. I have all my endorsements only thing I'm missing is my TWIC card(which i will be getting shortly). I did all required paperwork,DOT physical, drug test etc. Now as far as i was told last week once the paperwork comes back from my medical exam(verified that was received on Tuesday) i will be leaving for orientation in Pittsburgh,PA. Now the part that bothers me slightly is, if the paperwork came back on Tuesday and its now Friday. Why haven't i heard anything from my recruiter? Ive tried to contact him everyday since Wednesday leaving voice messages and even a email just asking hows my application coming along. Mind you the next orientation is scheduled for October 30. I've been out of school since 23rd of last month and have been wanting to get out and on the road. Is it gonna be like this for everyone i apply to? Im almost bout ready to cut my losses and move on to the next one

if it helps , orientations start every week. I get it you are itching to get started. Again , nothing wrong that I see with talking with other companies. SNI has been hitting tank hard so its possible that he's gotten overwhelmed a bit and hasnt had a chance to get back to you?
