Just made it up here to the motel in Green Bay from Indianapolis. Made it from NC to Indianapolis late last night/early morning.

Spent a total of $6 on tolls running the WV turnpike. Avoided them around Chicago. By the time I fill up the rental car before returning it it will have cost me about $100-$110 in fuel. Last night I stopped through at the Extended Stay in Indianapolis, got there around 1am and the after hours lady wasn't sure if they would give me a discount or not, but to check in the morning. I was tired so I went ahead and got the room, got a call in the morning and spoke with the front desk and they gave me the discount. $40 bucks for a super nice room with a fridge, stove, etc., etc. Didn't use any of it, but man that place is nice!

Now I'm at the Settle Inn in Green Bay. Got here, told them I was on the list for Schneider's orientation but asked to pay for my own room, too bad because they were already fully booked. Great. Roommate hasn't showed up yet, so hopefully he will be alright and doesn't have to have the TV blaring all night and I can get a good sleep. Toilet won't flush. Good thing I didn't drop a monster deuce and stink up the whole room. Pulled off the tank cover and can't figure out why. Not my problem, let the front front desk know. Not impressed so far, but hey since I'll be sharing it with another person its a free room so I guess I can't complain. I do want a fricking working toilet though.

Moved ALL my crap from the car into the room and will take it back to the airport soon. Hopefully I can get my tractor soon so I can move all my crap AGAIN into it, and if they'll let me maybe I'll just take it down to the OC and stay there. Dunno if that will work out or not though.

Paging Mary Trucker!!! Whats the scoop on good places to eat up here that I can walk to??

Congrats man! I thought the sports bar across the street had decent grub. Rode with a classmate to the Tilted Kilt when I was in oreintation. The italian place just looked spendy, I never went in there. Also if youre around this weekend and the Pack is in town, a taxi ride to walk around the tailgate is a good time.

Yeah, just went the cheap route and walked over to the McDonald's tonight, the motel room doesn't have a mini fridge/microwave so even if I got some stuff from a Wal-Mart I'd be pretty limited. If I can pick up my truck soon I can at least set up my fridge in there and have some lunch meat and stuff. The problem with pretty much any place within walking distance it seems is that by the time I get my dinner and leave a tip I'm spending 10-15 bucks a meal. NOPE.

Still no roommate yet. Toilet still isn't fixed. We're gonna have a real problem soon as whatever processed crap I ate from the McD's wants OUT. Laid down on the bed and one of the wheels on the frame just snaps off and the frame collapsed and is now sitting at an angle. LOL. What can I say.

Grazies on Onieda is good, if yoy can get downtown Titletown brewing is great. Other than that Duzzies is your best bet with the 10%map off eith your hotel key.

If you're willing to spend some bicks Black and Tan is fantastic. ####### expensive but the food is great.

We did Duzzies a couple times ordered a pizza once. Make sure you don't drink at Duzzies. They have spies(seriously that's what someone told me) no drinking during orientation. I got a smokin deal on a Green Bay packers tee shirt for my son at the airport gift shop. May have been because it was July though lol. Good luck

Also maybe tell the desk you have medication that needs to be in the fridge and they may have one for you.
