    I'd push the NAT out by 48 hours, that will ensure you won't get a load you can't do. Then as you get an idea of when Freightliner will be done with your truck you can tighten things up.

    To make sure you don't drop injectors again make sure you carry them with both hands, walk slowly, and watch where you put your feet.:biggrin_25525: DFO would have a better answer. I make things work. It won't be pretty, and it may not work for long, but it will work. As a rough guess the injector problem might be tied to your oil problem (or not, I've been slowly trying to drink myself to sleep for the last few hours - no I'm not in the truck)

    Not sure if the injectors are tied to the oil leak...the oil leak is near the rear of the engine and it's the #1 & 2 injectors. I almost want to say rear main seal, but I'm not sure. It's not dripping, there's just a nice sized path down the rear part of the driver's side of a very clean engine... (yeah, it just came out of maintenance) That's the reason I was in Express this morning, anyway - I wanted to know if it was something horrible, or just a 'watch and see' kind of problem. You can bet I will have eyes on it even more so than usual!

    and LOL on the dropped injectors advice! I promise to follow it faithfully! ;)

    Got through to GB this morning - they're pushing my current load out until tomorrow and trying to get the pre-assign off of me. He, too, was unimpressed with support shift not making a decision on them.

    My truck has been 'assessed' and has to go back in the shop for a recall on the injectors, and a dash fault (something about the washer pump), but they couldn't give me any idea when that might happen. I've been instructed to call the shop back in an hour, and update my DBL then.

    I'm going back to sleep for an hour ;)

    My DBL is taking care of me, too.

    I'm here for another night - will be late this afternoon or tomorrow morning before they can get to it. Just not the way I wanted this week to go, ya know?

    I have my truck!! Set my NAT at 0700 tomorrow, to make sure I have a chance to talk to my DBL. Being new, I'm pretty sure she'd not want me to take off tonight. The load I had was picked up sometime today, so I'm bobtailing - no empty. I'll find out for sure what she wants me to do and where I'm going in the morning.

    Excited to be back on my way!!

    Smart move. Just because you have a full 14 doesn't mean you haveto use. You've been up since this am, doing on of the most tiring things in the world: waiting. You did the safe thing and hopefully that will pay off for you.

    I'm in Southern Illinois at the moment - not sure where I'm going tomorrow yet. After 3 days in this hotel room, though, I'm ready to go just about anywhere!!
